Slow and Steady

They say slow and steady wins the race and I'm holding on to that thought. I weighed in today and since my last weigh in two weeks ago, I lost 1.4 lbs. Now there are some hormonal factors (sorry if that's too much information) that may be affecting that number a wee bit too.

I worked for that loss this past week, the week before was here and there, but this past week, I wrote down everything, hit the gym twice and drank lots of water. I'm still feeling strong and loving the way my body is feeling already, just feels a little less toxic. I'm looking for a new recipe to try this week and am planning on making another big pot of soup this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

You are bold trying to start a weight loss routine so close to the holiday season. Stay strong and remember to plan plan plan. And a loss is always a loss!!

Good for you! I started a million years ago on Halloween and thought I would die if I didn't eat my fair share of candy that day. I ate one bar and some pumpkin seeds and still woke up the next day. It was hard but worth it. Now I work for WW and it's more of a battle than ever to lose weight!

How has the New Year been for you so far? Are you back still on track- I hope so... I was searching for my own blog today when I came across yours.. seems we are both on "journey's" (www.tashamaggie.com)

I have found a lot of success when I have stepped back and looked at the emotional issues behind the weight. Why am I overweight? Why do I seem to self sabbotage when I am seeing great results? By asking these questions I was introduced by chance to EFT (emotinal freedom techinique) The great thing about it is that you don't need to believe in it for it to work. I encourage you to look through my blog and concentrate on EFT and how it can help you to stay on track and have success with your journey to a new body.

I'd love to stay in touch over this time and help keep other motivated and energized if you are willing... I have seen GREAT success by combining a healthy lifestyle.. sleep, water, nutrition, supplement (Omega 3 and magnesium) and exercise.. I've done all of it before but the key for me, my amazing breakthrough was EFT...

Keep going.. your worth it!
